Privacy Policy

This site, bargainbrothers.shop, is run by Bargain Brothers ("we", "us"). It exists to tell you our prices, hours, and where our stores are. We keep it simple, and we keep what we collect to a minimum.

What we collect

We don't ask you to create an account or give us your name or email to use the site. The one exception is the job application, which you fill in on purpose; that's covered below. When you visit, our web server records the ordinary technical details every website receives: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time of the request. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure, and we don't combine them with anything else to identify you.

Cookies and local storage

We don't use tracking cookies. If you switch the site between light and dark mode, that one preference is saved in your browser's local storage so it sticks next time. Nothing about it is sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Third-party services on the site

• Vimeo plays the short video on our home page. Loading it sends your request to Vimeo, which has its own privacy policy. We embed it in Do Not Track mode, which asks Vimeo not to track you across sites.
• OpenStreetMap supplies the map tiles on our locations map. Loading the map sends your request to OpenStreetMap under its privacy policy.
• Google Maps opens when you tap a Directions button, and Facebook opens when you tap a store's Facebook button. Those are links to other sites, and their policies apply once you're there.

Job applications

If you apply for a job through our application form, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, email, the store you want, the days you can work, your answers to the two eligibility questions, what you tell us about yourself, and any work history you choose to add. The application is emailed to the store's hiring inbox, and a copy is emailed to you. We use Resend to deliver that email under its privacy policy. We use the application only to consider you for a job and to contact you about it.

While you're filling it in, the form saves a draft in your own browser's local storage so you can come back and finish later. That draft never leaves your device; it's removed when you send the application or press "Clear form", and clearing your browser data removes it too. To have an application you've already sent deleted, call the store at 501-644-4757.

Calling or messaging us

If you call a store at 501-644-4757, we hear what you tell us and nothing more is recorded on this site. If you message a store on Facebook, Facebook's terms and privacy policy cover that conversation.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If we add something that changes how the site handles information, such as analytics, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top.
